hahaha! yup! I think your right, blender can't use really advanced renders like those, I know Yafaray and Indigo can be used, but personally I haven't used them. I haven't used any other software such as Maya or 3Ds Max, but I'm interested in Z-Brush (despite blenders sculpt system, which i just don't understand, but I've heard is adequate). Yhe other amazing thing about blender is the community their all really great people who happily give a hand to any noobs or even pros.
